Recognition of Lord Lakevator Higher Secondary School Cancelled
Shivpuri/Bairad: In Shivpuri district’s Karera block, the recognition of a private school has been cancelled following administrative action. According to information received, the Joint Director of Public Education, Gwalior Division, through order number F-11/7/2020 dated 31/07/2020, cancelled the recognition of Lord Lakevator Higher Secondary School located in Bairad town.
The order stated that the school had violated Rule 2017 under Section 11 of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education regulations. Under these rules, recognition granted by the Public Education Directorate can be cancelled if irregularities are found.
According to reports, the school operator submitted forged documents, fake fee receipts, and false land records in applications numbered 420, 467, 468, 471, and 34. These applications were allegedly submitted with fabricated information for recognition extension and transfer. Based on the investigation report, the school’s recognition was cancelled through administrative action.
Anti-Corruption Committee Had Exposed the Matter
It is also noteworthy that earlier, the District President of the Rashtriya Bhrashtachar Unmoolan Samiti, Makhan Singh Dhakad, had filed a complaint regarding the school with complaint number 606/07/08/2028. Following the investigation, the Joint Director of Public Education, Gwalior, ordered the cancellation of the school’s recognition on 31 July 2020.
School Continued Operating Even After Recognition Cancellation
Reports state that the operator of Lord Lakevator Higher Secondary School in Karera, Shivpuri district, had surrendered the school code on 17 December 2019. Despite the recognition being cancelled, the school allegedly continued to operate afterward.
