Allegations of ₹3 Crore Scam in Pohri Municipal Council, Demand for High-Level Investigation
The Pohri Municipal Council in Shivpuri district has once again come under the spotlight over allegations of financial irregularities. A case involving alleged embezzlement of more than ₹3 crore and violations of rules has surfaced. In this regard, a social activist has submitted a detailed complaint letter to senior officials of the Urban Administration and Development Department as well as the Collector of Shivpuri.
Payments Worth Crores Released Without Physical Verification of Purchased Materials in Municipal Council
Pohri Municipal Council has once again become the center of controversy regarding alleged corruption. After previous disputes related to embezzlement, a new controversy has surfaced over purchases made under the Swachh Bharat Mission. In this case, a complaint has also been filed against senior officials. It is alleged that payments were released without conducting physical verification of the purchased materials. Payments worth crores of rupees were allegedly made without proper validation.
